Academy School District 20 hosts a share fair for the school board each year to showcase 21st century skills. School librarians are prominent in this event, and it is no accident that 2 school librarians were interviewed for this article in the local newspaper, The Gazette: http://www.gazette.com/articles/maker-97275-find-vodcasts.html#slComments
This provides great "face time" and raises awareness of the important role school librarians play in helping students achieve 21st century skills.
Last year's Share Fair had a virtual element - using VoiceThread - to be able to share projects to a wider audience.
